'Rukungiri Rise and Shine' was the theme for 2 weeks in May and together the school raised a phenomenal amount of money for the children of Rukungiri, Uganda. Read on to find out how we got on!
All Aboard The Polar Express!
The Year 2's loved our Polar Express day to start our theme The Greatest Gift.

Holy Island Art Work

We are honoured to have been asked to create a piece of art work for St Mary's Church on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne in Northumberland. Read the full story and watch the video of our trip.
Cinderella at Lincoln Drill Hall
On Thursday 20th December 2007, the longest "crocodile" of children ever to walk from uphill Lincoln into town, slithered its way down the hill from school to Lincoln's wonderful Drill Hall to see a performance of "Cinderella"! We filled the huge theatre with an amazing 365 children, staff and parents and the sound of laughter and thrilled faces was quite a Christmas treat for us all.
Father Christmas came to visit!
During party day we all had a big surprise when Santa came to visit!

To Romania With Love
Well done everyone! Together we collected 177 shoeboxes and food parcels for children and families in Romania.
Launch of hot dinners
On 17th September 2007, Mount Street started offering hot dinners to all of the children.
Harvest Celebration
We celebrated our Harvest service at St Nicholas Church on 19th October.
R.O.A.D Shoe Box Appeal
R.O.A.D will once again be taking Christmas Presents / Food parcels and Toiletry Boxes to Romania for the children and families they work with. We need to have everything collected by Friday November 23rd.
